A selection of sequences I animated for Henry Selick’s feature film “Wendell & Wild.” As a Lead Animator I was in charge several large sections of the film. Starting at the very beginning of shooting, I helped develop Kat’s character style and movement. “Jailbreak” is a short film produced by HouseSpecial, (formerly LAIKA House) conceived and directed by Aaron Sorenson. I did all the stop-motion animation on this film and it was super fun to work on! This film has gone on to screen in many festivals and win numerous awards. It’s for mature audiences so beware.

The Uncluded is an American indie folk rap group, formed by rapper Aesop Rock and singer-songwriter Kimya Dawson. This music video for their song “Organs” was directed by Rob Shaw and animated by Suzanne Twining. The characters in this video are actual taxidermied bugs that have been modified for animation. Definitely some of the smallest puppets I’ve ever animated!
